Beeswax as a Raw Material for Skin Care Products
Beeswax is commonly used in making a wide range of skin care products due to its anti-bacterial properties and its ability to protect skin by locking in moisture. It can be easily combined with other raw materials (carrier oils, essential and fragrance oils) and aids in natural healing and reconstruction of skin cells. It also used in making sunscreen due to its water repelling properties.

Beeswax in Candlemaking
Beeswax has a high melting point therefore users can expect a longer burn time with natural beeswax candles. It is also recommended for those who are sensitive to smoke and strong scents since they barely emit any smoke (since it is not petroleum based), keeping homes cleaner and making air safer to breathe. Recent studies also show that beeswax candles help purify the air by releasing negative ions when lit, thereby removing air impurities.

CAUTION: Overheating this product will affect its scent and color. Melt at lowest heat possible while stirring gently, and combine with other ingredients / raw materials as soon as melted.

STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep beeswax container tightly sealed at all times to ensure freshness and to extend shelf life.

USAGE TIP: When making balms, salves or pomade, we recommend for you to gently heat the carrier oil or butter first (if using any) and pour in the beeswax once the carrier and/or butter has been mildly heated. This will allow the wax to melt into the carrier and avoid being burnt. Stir gently at low heat until all ingredients are mixed together. Turn off heat and stir in your choice of essential or fragrance oils then pour right away into containers.
