Description:

• It is a strong, sharp top note that has a high menthol content, and its minty sweet aroma makes it a highly popular essential oil.
• Adding Peppermint Japanese EO to bodycare products creates a cooling menthol sensation on the skin.
• Mentha Arvensis comes in several species and the amount of menthol content varies depending on its origin. Peppermint Japanese is known for its high menthol content, with it menthol crystals sometimes forming right on its leaves.

Cautions:

• For topical applications, this product should always be diluted prior to use (can be diluted with a carrier or base oil).
• It can cause skin irritation to some individuals with sensitive skin therefore a patch test is recommended. 

• Peppermint Japanese may sometimes crystallize in the bottle due to its high menthol content (this can be more evident if stored in colder climates). Should this happen, place the bottle in a hot bath until oil goes back to its liquid state.
