Basil EO is imported from India and is steam distilled from the leaves of the basil plant. It is fragrantly sweet, spicy and fresh with a hint of woody undertone. The oil is pale amber to almost colorless and with a thin consistency. It blends well with other essential oils like eucalyptus, lime, rosemary, bergamot and clove.
This refreshing EO can be used in making soaps, creams, lotions, massage oils, hair & body products and as fragrance for diffusers.
Cautions: This product should be diluted prior to use (can be diluted with a carrier or base oil). It can cause skin irritation to some individuals with sensitive skin therefore a patch test is recommended.
Storage & Shelf Life: Keep sealed always in dark glass containers and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For best results, consume or mix into finished product within 6 months of purchase.
